Jane Meikle is an award-winning screenwriter developing narrative feature and television projects in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Her thriller ‘Deadline Belgrade,’ co-written with Victoria Aitken, is in pre-production with Grant Hill’s Elizabeth Bay Productions, to be directed by OC Madsen (Boundless, The Day We Died).

Based in the United Arab Emirates since 2006, Jane has worked locally with Comedy Central Studios Arabia, Filmworks Dubai and Imagenation Abu Dhabi.

Jane began her career as the face of Canada-wide horror channel Scream TV, writing and performing popular character segments. She trained as a director at Norman Jewison’s Canadian Film Centre.

A mother of two, Jane splits her time between Abu Dhabi and Paris.
